Clergy : Rabbi Jonathan Miller

Temple Emanu-El flourishes under the enthusiastic leadership of Rabbi Jonathan Miller, who joined our congregation in 1991. Previously, he served as a rabbi in Los Angeles and Auckland, New Zealand. He was ordained at the New York Campus of Hebrew Union College, Jewish Institute of Religion, after having graduated from Brandeis University. Rabbi Miller embraces the traditions of our congregation, while at the same time providing exciting and innovative program-ming. Rabbi Miller is married to Judith Schulmann-Miller, and they have three children: Aaron, Alana, and Benjamin

Clergy : Cantor Jessica Roskin

Cantor Jessica Roskin joined our Temple in the summer of 1999. Cantor Roskin was invested as clergy and received her master’s degree in sacred music from the Hebrew Union College – Jewish Institute of Religion, and she received her Bachelor’s degree in music and religious studies from Indiana University. A native of South Florida, Cantor Roskin’s talents enrich all areas of our congregation.

Clergy : Rabbi Scott Hausman-Weiss

Rabbi Hausman-Weiss is the Director of Adult Jewish Educational Outreach. We are pleased to have on staff Rabbi Scott Hausman-Weiss, who joined our congregation in 1999 to enrich our adult learning opportunities. An experienced teacher, he has spent the last seven years teaching and engaging both young and old alike in a variety of settings including special adult programs, religious schools and Jewish camps. Ordained at the Hebrew Union College, Rabbi Hausman-Weiss received two Masters degrees including Jewish Education and Hebrew Letters. A native of Los Angeles, he and his wife, Natalie, are the proud parents of two sons, Abraham and Samuel.
