Temple Emanu-El endeavors to creatively nurture and involve our Jewish youth. In developing our programming, we aspire to create a welcoming, warm environment in which our young people can thrive socially, emotionally, intellectually and spiritually. We offer a variety of programs — for families with infants as young as 6 months of age through 4 years.

Mommy & Me	Young children from 4 to 12 months	In this program, as well as the one below, Toddler & Me, young children and their parents are introduced to songs and traditions, as well as given the opportunity to make new friends and hear interesting and informative speakers. October to May; exact times and dates are determined each year by the class participants
Toddler & Me	Children from 12 months to 2 years
Temple Tots		Our preschool program for children 18 months through pre-kindergarten offers a nurturing environment which emphasizes the joys of Judaism and the smells, tastes, music, dance, and laughter of the holidays. Tuesday through Friday mornings from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.; September to May.
Training Wheels		Once a month, our families with 4 year olds are treated to a special program with story-telling, arts & crafts, and music of the season. The program is artfully designed by Hadassah and features such holidays as Rosh Hashanah, Sukkot, Chanukah, Purim and Israel’s Birthday. One Sunday per month, 10:00 - 11:30 a.m.; September to April.
Tot Shabbat		Once a month throughout the year, the rabbi and cantor lead a creative 30-minute service, Tot Shabbat, for our pre-school children and their families in Hess Chapel to familiarize them with Shabbat prayers, songs, and the special traditions of the season.
